3 DOOR HOTEL, Tainan – A Smart Stay in the City
About the Hotel
Architectural Design Concept
3 Door Hotel draws its name from three core concepts: architectural aesthetics, art appreciation, and ancient capital culture. The property features cypress wood throughout elevator cabs and guest rooms, treated with UV-lacquer to release phytoncides. Flooring utilizes terrazzo and wood floor tiles instead of carpet to eliminate dust mites and formaldehyde. After housekeeping, ozone machines are deployed to reduce allergens.
Rooms & Accommodations
Guest rooms range from 9.5 to 12坪 (approximately 310-400 sq ft). All rooms include air conditioning, electric kettles, tea/coffee makers, and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. Bathrooms feature showers, bidets, and hairdryers. Select rooms offer balconies with city views. Room types include Double Rooms (can be configured as twins), Twin Rooms, and Quadruple Rooms, all with soundproof walls.
Dining & Amenities
A free self-service snack bar operates in the lobby from 07:00 to 01:00, featuring local Taiwanese snacks. The onsite bar serves a selection of international craft beers, available at a discount. The rooftop Sky Garden provides space for interaction and reading, with audio-visual and fitness equipment. Complimentary bicycle rentals are available for guests.
Location & Transportation
The hotel is located on Chenggong Road in Tainan's West Central District, a 5-minute walk from Tainan Railway Station. It is approximately 1 km from the Tainan Grand Mazu Temple and National Museum of Taiwan Literature, 1.5 km from Shennong Street, and 2 km from the Tainan Judicial Museum. Driving routes are provided from multiple interchanges including Rende, Guanmiao, and Yongkang.
Services & Facilities
The property implements comprehensive health measures including temperature checks, mandatory mask-wearing, and real-name registration. Public areas and high-touch surfaces are regularly disinfected with sodium hypochlorite. Hand sanitizer stations are placed at key points. The rooftop hosts hand-made classes on weekends. The hotel offers partnerships with local motorcycle rental services for guest convenience.

Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel as it is conveniently located near the Chihkan tower and the vibrant Shennong Street area, filled with charming cafes and shops. The rooms were spacious, featuring a huge and very comfortable bed, although there was only one comfortable chair and a tall stool for sitting. The service was excellent, offering room service, car hire, housekeeping, and tours/ticket assistance. The dining options were good, but I wish there were more regional jams available. The facilities were top-notch, providing a great overall experience.
The hotel had rooms as swank as the pictures online, but had very little surface for us to put anything, forcing us to lay out our luggage and clothes on the floor. It was out of our expectation and had only one comfortable chair and a tall stool for sitting. The service was decent with room service, car hire, housekeeping, and tours/ticket assistance available. The location was perfect, being within walking distance from the Chihkan Tower and the lovely cafes and shops in the Shennong Street area. The dining experience was average in the hotel's public brunch restaurant that served US food. The facilities were satisfactory.
I just had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious, featuring nice touches even though there wasn't much surface for our belongings. The atmosphere felt slightly cold, but it didn't overshadow the overall comfort and swanky design, just like the pictures online.
My stay at the hotel was really satisfying overall. The rooms were well-furnished and spacious, though they felt a bit cold in design. The location was perfect, close to the train station and within walking distance of the main attractions in the city. The breakfast was huge and the late-night cocktails were a great way to relax after exploring the night market.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were huge, even for a standard room, and the design was really impressive. The location was perfect, with plenty of lovely cafes and shops around. The service was top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed the late-night cocktails after exploring the night market.
